One-Page TTRPG Bundle Vol. 2

Created by La Lionne Publishing

One-page TTRPGs are simple rules-light games where everything you need to play the game is contained on one sheet of paper. They are great for parties and convincing your friends that they really will like role-playing games (you swear)!

One-pagers writing update!
about 22 hours ago – Thu, Apr 02, 2026 at 03:17:02 AM

Hello friends! I just wanted to update you all with some good news. Five of the ten one-pagers for this BackerKit project (including the Zinetopia bundle zine bonus game, A Mischief of Magpies) are 100% completed and either already printed and in my hands or were just sent off to be printed yesterday. :)

As I continue writing and designing the layouts for these games, I've been experimenting with creating a layout (and color scheme) that suits the stories you will be telling while playing the games. "Read Receipts and Replay Highlights" (the middle game in the graphic above) certainly pops in that regard, with its text conversation bubbles and phone screens! I'm going to be shifting away from the parchment/gold/yellow colors you can see in four of the games already completed with the remaining one-pagers. I hadn't realized just how prevalent that color was in my designs until I lined them all up together!

Additionally, the as-yet-untitled ghost-hunting cats game was playtested at an event in the U.K. last weekend (thank you to Lola for the feedback from your players!), and I'll incorporate the playtest comments as I move forward with editing and formatting the game.

Most everyone has completed their surveys at this point, but there are still 18 backers who haven't filled out their information yet. You still have plenty of time, but if you aren't sure if you've completed your survey, you can click on "Your Pledges & Surveys" in the BackerKit website menu and then the "Your Surveys" tab to check your survey status.

For those who were unable to pledge during Zinetopia, the Pre-Order Store is also open, and you can place orders for the bundles at your leisure!

That is all from me for now, and I can't wait to share all of these games with you!

P.S. Apologies if you also backed Beyond the Lighthouse and are getting two updates from me today!

Smoke tests have gone out!

Hey everyone, just a quick update from me today. 😊  Smoke tests for the project have officially gone out, so if you're one of the 5% of backers who received your surveys already, it would be a huge help to me if you fill out your surveys today so that I can see if there are any changes that I need to make before sending out the rest of the surveys!

Also, just a note: six backers need to update their payment methods; please do so ASAP so that you can receive your pledge items! 💕 I believe that you should be able to do this during the survey phase as well, but don't quote me on that. 😅

Writing on the games is steadily coming along! I now have 9/10 of the one-page games for this project (including the cross-collab, early bird, stretch goal, and Zinetopia ones) written to varying degrees, from rough drafts to fully completed and finished layouts. I'm really excited about the range of games I have for you all, and I can't wait to see what you think of them!

Thank you all so much for supporting the project, and keep an eye out for surveys coming out for everyone in the next day or two.

Thank you for the support!!

Thank you again to everyone who backed this project. I'm currently working on getting the pledge manager up and running, but it shouldn't take too long, given the limited pledge levels/add-ons.

We have our results from the poll! It was flipping back and forth between the game show where everything goes wrong and ghost-hunting cats for a while, but in the end, the cats prevailed! That being said, given how much people liked the idea of the game show, I decided to use both ideas for games in the project! This rounds out all the one-pagers I'll be writing for this crowdfunding campaign, and I'll be sharing progress as I finish the rest of the games along the way.

At the moment, I'm working on the layout design for Read Receipts & Replay Highlights, a 2-player game of mutual pining between two athletes who are absolutely, catastrophically in love. I'm sorting out the mechanics addition that will allow the game to be for more than two players with my playtesters. :)

Lastly, I want to highlight a project over on Kickstarter that my friend DC Bradshaw has been working on for the last four years: Little but Fierce, a kid-friendly adaptation of D&D 5th Edition with streamlined rules, simplified language, and a family-friendly tone. There has been a lot of thought and care put into this project, and Dave's been working on it for as long as I've known him, so I know it is going to be an incredible project worth your backing!

Be on the lookout for the smoke test for the BackerKit surveys! They should be coming out in the next couple of weeks. :) As a reminder, if you also backed Beyond the Lighthouse, you can combine shipping with the two projects! Keep in mind that if you pick this option, you will likely receive the one-page bundle a little later, as we are still working on formatting the book and getting the last of the modules written and edited, but this way you'll only have to pay for shipping once! :)

The dawn of the final day!
about 1 month ago – Fri, Feb 27, 2026 at 02:16:41 AM

Hey there folks, we're nearing the end of Zinetopia and this crowdfunding campaign!

As of right now, there are still 11ish hours to go til the end of the campaign, which means we may still be able to hit that final stretch goal! Even if we don't, thank you from the bottom of my heart to all who have shared and backed the project. The support for this blew past my expectations, and I'm so, SO excited to share these one-page games with you all! They've been so much fun to write and design, and I know that I will continue to write one-pagers (mixed in with my larger games) for a long time to come. :)

Also, if you want to have another project to look forward to backing in the future, I highly recommend following the teaser page for Midnight in Jubilation - A Solo Horror RPG by Blackwood Press. The creator is a dear friend of mine and an incredible horror writer/storyteller, so I know that this game is going to be phenomenal. I'm going to be hitting that "pledge" button as soon as the project launches, and you should too!

Thank you again, friends, and I'll see you on the finish line!

Stretch goal #3 reached! And down to the last 3 days
about 1 month ago – Tue, Feb 24, 2026 at 12:37:57 AM

Good news, everyone! (*insert Professor Farnsworth GIF here*) Last night, we hit the third stretch goal, which means that I will be adding 100 community copies to the digital PDF itch.io pages of the six core games when they're published. 💕 I'm so excited to share these games with people who may otherwise not have been able to afford them, and I thank all of you for making that possible.

Our last stretch goal is only €452 away, and if we hit it before the end of Zinetopia, I'll commission an artist to add a couple of original spot art pieces to one or two of the projects. I've already reached out to the artist that I'll be commissioning for this, and we've been bouncing ideas back and forth. Normally, with these one-pagers, I use Creative Commons and/or public-domain artwork, so I'm excited to hopefully pay this artist to contribute to this bundle!

If you haven't backed the project yet, please consider doing so to support your small indie creatives! If you are unable to do so at this time, you can also choose the "Supporter" pledge level and then add items to your cart when the Pledge Manager surveys go out.

You can also share the project on social media and support other folks who are a part of Zinetopia! Remember that if you back 5+ Zinetopia projects, you will receive a digital group zine of one-page projects from each of us. I contributed a game where you play a mischief of magpies collecting shiny objects and vying to be the Supreme Magpie!

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you who has supported and shared this project with others. This wouldn't be possible without you!
